Project Overview

We at the HBLL Production Unit are making our summer feature. This year, we have opted to create zombie apocalypse. This is to promote car sharing by BYU, naturally.

The main concept is as follows:

Two normal, happy, healthy roommates are in their apartment preparing to go on a camping trip. Like most peers in their demographic, they are car-less; but thanks to Car Sharing at BYU, they are able to rent a car for their weekend plans.

As they open their door to leave their house, it becomes apparent that this was not a camping trip they were preparing for, but a zombie apocalypse. They use their matches and bug spray to ward off the zombies at the door and make a break for the parking lot.

We follow our heroes as they deftly veer around obstacles and zombies. They arrive at their car and drive off into the ravaged city. They are able to escape because they rented a car. Cyclists, roller-bladers and pogo stickers meet tragic fates all because they didn't believe in Car Sharing at BYU.

Be a believer. Be a zombie.

I extend my personal thanks to everyone who has helped the project get this far and to those who have expressed interest in helping with this shoot. It will not be possible without everyone's cooperation. A huge thank you to co-workers, friends, and family who are helping to make this possible.

Let's make this one count.
